Bela's Sim Stories

 Honey made these earrings and showed them to her dad who was very supportive - helping her get rid of her fear of failure. She's still dealing with her grief, but usually those moodlets are buried under other, happier ones.  Melody woke up very sore from skiing and with another loose tooth. Pancakes for breakfast cheered her up though. Rowan's trying to raise his rock climbing skill the easy way - by reading.  Melody: Mom, I'm going to lose another tooth, see? Not sure what this was about, but after finishing her craft she got a fear of being inferior. So she tried beating mom at rock, paper, scissors, but she lost. I realized that they are going to have to go to Gibbi Point for Melody to finish this aspiration because she'll need to play rock, paper, scissors for a collectible. Sore or not, Melody was ready to move up from the bunny slope to the easy slope. She was flying! Honey autonomously thought she was ready for the expert slope. She made it! She did it again an...

Rowan is finally in danger of losing his workaholic lifestyle! A couple more days of vacation ought to do it. Meanwhile, this is Honey and Rowan any time they get a moment to themselves. I guess he's not toooo focused on work. They enjoyed some time on the slopes together. Melody tried out skiing. She fell right away and lost a tooth! This happened twice, but Melody still got this popup. Apparently we have a little daredevil on our hands. She kept at it and finally made it down without falling.  She certainly doesn't look like she lost any teeth... Later they did some more rock climbing practice. The gear helped, but Rowan was still struggling. He seems to be better suited to snowboarding. They were sore afterward so they relaxed in the hot springs. They've already had two public woohoo scandals, so I think after this Rowan is going to have to contact the information broker lol.

For Melody's birthday they all went sledding before having a birthday party.   ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I couldn't throw an actual party at their rental, so they just invited Tate and April and the baby, Ash, over to celebrate. Honey finally got to meet her little nephew (because I kept forgetting). Melody was blowing him kisses. Then it was time for cake! I gave her the Cool Kid on the Block aspiration because I've never done it, and since more traits in CAS was updated she has Loves the Outdoors, Self-Assured, and Hot-headed (thanks to that dormant wolf in her hehe). I couldn't add the pets back to the household without ending the vacation, but it's okay...they are off adventuring with Em and Louie, which is why they are not pictured here. <3

 With Melody tucked into bed, Honey and Rowan went to the slopes for some late night snowboarding. They saw Carly there and said hello. They both got a Simmi and some gear. Aw, Rowan. I love catching these autonomous moments. I sent them up to the top of the mountain instead of to the bunny slopes by accident, so they tried out the easy slope first. Honey was very confident.  It went okay, but she could not stick the landing. Rowan did much better. Honey wasn't happy. She tried again on the bunny slope this time, but still crashed. I don't think snowboarding is her thing. Let's try skiing. Much better! Next they checked out the info board and tried some rock climbing. It was Rowan's turn to fall flat on his back this time.  They decided to head back to their rental and purchase some climbing gear. Melody was awake and playing in her room. I'm thinking about aging her up soon. And I caught the end of a sweet moment between Honey's parents. Perhaps they will have ...
