Honey & Rowan - Full Moon

 They had been reading about werewolves, but the very next day they met their first one. Jacob Volkov.


They also met Lily Zhu and Kristopher Volkov, Jacob's father. They asked some questions about their pack and told them why they had come to Moonwood Mill. Kristopher was nice enough to invite them over for dinner that night to discuss more. 


They read some more books while they waited.



That sounded like Melody, the part about the howling, but they weren't sure how Melody could have anything to do with werewolves. Hopefully they could find out more at dinner.

Kristopher even came over to collect them when it was time.


They ate stew and Honey and Rowan shared about Melody, the reason they had come.


Kristopher: You're sure no one in your family has lycanthropy?

Honey: Pretty sure. How does one become a werewolf anyway?

Kristopher explained about being bitten, but said it was unlikely for a child to be turned that way. Children usually only showed signs of lycanthropy when having inherited it.


He told them about their pack, The Moonwood Collective. He had been the leader, but in his old age he had settled down and gotten married, and passed the title of leader on to his son, Jacob.


Honey wasn't sure what to think of all this. There's no way Melody could be a werewolf. There had to be something else going on.


Jacob: My adopted sister, Rory, used to be the pack leader of the other pack in town, The Wildfangs.

Kristopher: Yes, until a newcomer showed up in town and defeated her. He took over the pack, and they have been making a bad name for werewolf kind ever since. He's not a kind man. His name is Severin Ashwood.

Rowan froze.


Honey: That name sounds familiar...

She turned to Rowan.

Honey: Your last name used to be Ashwood, didn't it?


Rowan: Yes. I changed my name when I became a teen and left home. Severin is my father...

He suddenly stood up from the table.


Rowan: It all makes sense now. Why my parents always left me alone on a full moon, and it explains what's wrong with Melody. This is all my fault. 


Rowan: Melody is having problems because of me! I must have passed the gene down to her.


Rowan: I need to get out of here...

He turned and ran out the door.


Honey: Rowan! Wait!


Lily: He should be careful running out there on a full moon...

Honey took off running after him.

  Honey and Irene agreed...Porgi puppies would be very cute. So Honey took Maple to get unspayed. There's a vet office now in Newcrest so she wouldn't have to keep traveling to Brindleton Bay. April - The Mother

They started by browsing the books at the library, but what they really wanted was to talk to some scientists.  Thankfully, one showed up before too long. He was able to tell her that there was a spore filter that could protect against the spores, but he'd need a profile on the spores first.  So, it was off to the lab once again to see if the infection scanner would turn up more results by the lab. Thankfully, it did. Tate: Are you sure you know what you're doing? April: I must have studied this somewhere. Tate (thinking):  Mysterious, cute... and smart. April got the sample back to the scientist and he said he could get the filter to her in the mail. So they went back to the barracks to wait. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Her first encounter with the vines had made her a little jumpy. When she entered the bathroom later to find more growing out of the sink, she let out a little scream. Tate came running in. Thankfully...he took care of clearing out the vines. After hearing about Cebolla's breakup, Honey crafted her this bracelet, since Carly's gift had helped her so much.  This one also would help with heartbreak. She also made one for Lilith that would help sad moodlets go away faster. She wanted to try going to Lilith's nightclub again so she talked Cebolla into meeting her there. I used MCCC to cheat her sad moodlet. I tried cheating Lilith's as well...but...I accidently clicked possessed instead of sad...my bad... Welp... Honey gave Cebolla her bracelet, but before she could even open the package... Ghast attacked. And there goes Lilith...(I'm so sorry!) She did get the bracelet though and put it on. She was still very sad though. Ghast attacked another of Lilith's potential customers and before Honey could pay for them to go inside, Cebolla went home... "Good boy, Ghast.
