Honey & Rowan - A Lesson and A Fight

 Honey is trying to get the most out of her time in Nordhaven before going off to college. She checked out another hobby meetup and this time she was joined by some friends.


Jace got all flirty when he saw Honey...

Then Irene came by with Louie.

Honey: Jace, you're clothes smell really nice, did you just do laundry?

Jace: No, but you look really nice tonight. I mean... This is awkward. Let's not mention this to Ashley.

Irene stopped, but Louie kept on going and going...

Jace: Seriously...we are not mentioning this to anyone.

Irene: My lips are sealed...

Then Louie magically reappeared!

Honey: Hey, Jace, do you think you could teach me and Rowan how to do the Rumbasim?

Jace: Sure, just come by Crafty Corner and take a class!

Honey: Okay!

Later, Honey made a promposal sign to ask Rowan to prom. She wasn't sure if prom would happen, but she figured she'd ask Rowan anyway.


He said yes.

Hugo?? What are you doing here?

The day came for Honey and Rowan's Selvadoradian Culture class. Honey needed one more gold level class for her Master Mentor aspiration before she switches to teaching classes.

Even though I had Rowan declare a new weather preference, he is determined to have the wind as his personal enemy.


Anyway...on to the class.


Things started off really well. I even added a speaker and put on some Latin Pop in hopes that there would be dancing. They did do a little dancing, but it wasn't the Rumbasim.


They were the only ones there for awhile, and Rowan asked Jace to be his mentor.


Then, The Crafty Corner started filling up with customers. Lots of customers. Rowan started getting really tense. There were too many sims in one place. Were they at max capacity? Wasn't this a fire hazard? What if the ground opened up and swallowed him? Actually...that might be preferable. He felt like he couldn't breathe. His chest was tight. Everyone was suddenly standing too close to him. 


Before he knew what was happening, he just started yelling at Jace to just...STOP. And then, Honey was yelling at him for yelling at Jace. His heart felt like it was going to burst out of his chest.


Rowan fled and went and sat outside. Fresh air was good...


Jace: ...is he okay?

Honey: I...don't know. I'm so sorry, Jace.

Jace: It's okay, don't worry about it.

Jace finished mentoring Honey in handiness (which fulfilled the second level of Master Mentor - they did get gold on the class thankfully).

Then they went back to Honey's house. They were both still very upset.


Honey: What happened in there? You just started yelling at him!


Rowan: Honey, I couldn't breathe in there! 

Honey: Rowan...?

Rowan: I'm sorry...I don't know what happened.

Honey: I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have yelled. I lost my temper when I saw you yell at Jace. I told you, I've been having trouble with my anger lately.

Rowan: And I have trouble around people. What do we do?

Honey: We work on it. Together.


Honey is realizing that Rowan has his limitations and if they are going to be together she can't push him too much. 


He stayed over awhile and made her some dinner.


Hopefully prom goes okay.

Notes: Rowan got a fear of crowds in the middle of the lesson and really did start yelling at Jace, and then Honey yelled at him (confront about bullying which she does because she is a loyal sim). This all happened autonomously and I didn't get any pictures of them yelling until they got back to Honey's and they were still yelling at each other. But they did talk it out and made up. :')

  Honey and Irene agreed...Porgi puppies would be very cute. So Honey took Maple to get unspayed. There's a vet office now in Newcrest so she wouldn't have to keep traveling to Brindleton Bay. Maple: Mom, how long do I have to wear this thing? Maple: I do not like this cone of shame. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The next day: No more cone!  Honey: Should we invite Louie over to play? April - The Mother

They started by browsing the books at the library, but what they really wanted was to talk to some scientists.  Thankfully, one showed up before too long. He was able to tell her that there was a spore filter that could protect against the spores, but he'd need a profile on the spores first.  So, it was off to the lab once again to see if the infection scanner would turn up more results by the lab. Thankfully, it did. Tate: Are you sure you know what you're doing? April: I must have studied this somewhere. Tate (thinking):  Mysterious, cute... and smart. April got the sample back to the scientist and he said he could get the filter to her in the mail. So they went back to the barracks to wait. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Her first encounter with the vines had made her a little jumpy. When she entered the bathroom later to find more growing out of the sink, she let out a little scream. Tate came running in. Thankfully...he took care of clearing out the vines. Honey & Rowan - Since I Don't Have You

After hearing about Cebolla's breakup, Honey crafted her this bracelet, since Carly's gift had helped her so much.  This one also would help with heartbreak. She also made one for Lilith that would help sad moodlets go away faster. She wanted to try going to Lilith's nightclub again so she talked Cebolla into meeting her there. I used MCCC to cheat her sad moodlet. I tried cheating Lilith's as well...but...I accidently clicked possessed instead of sad...my bad... Welp... Honey gave Cebolla her bracelet, but before she could even open the package... Ghast attacked. And there goes Lilith...(I'm so sorry!) She did get the bracelet though and put it on. She was still very sad though. Ghast attacked another of Lilith's potential customers and before Honey could pay for them to go inside, Cebolla went home... "Good boy, Ghast.
