April - A Vision
Tate had arranged for April to stay at the barracks. April had a strange feeling that she'd been there before. Not only that...she had a feeling she was supposed to be in the military. So, she joined up and settled into the barracks.
It hadn't taken long, since she didn't have very many belongings.
But at night...she started having...strange dreams.
A man...crying over an urn.
He looked a lot like the General Grunt who she'd met shortly after enlisting.
She didn't think it was a memory she had seen, but she didn't know what it was.
She decided to go jogging to clear her mind.
She ended up at the secret lab. She felt a strange pull towards it that she couldn't ignore. Something there was calling to her.
But she couldn't get past this door...she'd have to ask around town to see what people knew. For some reason she felt like the answers to who she was were in there.
She poked around a bit, but nothing made sense. Some notes, photographs, strange blueprints...she'd have to come back later when she knew more.
In town she bought some curio. She didn't know if she'd need it, but you never could tell about these things. A spy bug probably would come in handy...
She stopped by the bar and asked around about the town and the strange plants to see if she could figure anything out. Her head ached. Strange visions...no memory...and something strange about this place that felt familiar.
And then there was Tate. She felt drawn to him too. She didn't know what to make of all of it...
All she could do was keep looking for answers and take things one day at a time.
